The Shwe project
Up one levelAs with many mineral extraction projects around the world, the Shwe gas project has been forged by several unholy alliances, led by the Burma regime and Daewoo, without consultation with or benefits for the local people. On the contrary, the project is already leading to human rights abuses and increased control by the regime on its people.
